10/15/2018 -
On February 10th, 2018 at approximately 12:30PM, police were dispatched to the 8000 block of Glimmer Way on a shooting.  Upon arrival, they discovered a 20 year old male lying in the breezeway of 8007 Glimmer Way.  It appears that Mr. Alandre Payton was shot by someone he encountered in the building.  Mr. Payton was pronounced deceased at the scene due to gunshots he sustained.

10/8/2018 -
On February 2nd, 2018 police were dispatched to 2118 Garland Avenue on a shooting.  Upon arrival, they discovered an 18 year old, Cee Cee Harrison, sitting in a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  It appears she was shot by someone on foot who approached her vehicle.  Ms. Harrison was transported to University Hospital where she passed away due to the gunshot wounds she sustained.

10/1/2018 -
The Oldham County Police Department is currently investigating ongoing thefts of street and traffic control signs.  Over the course of the summer and continuing to present, at least 100 signs have been stolen, including stop signs.  These thefts have occurred in all areas of Oldham County.  All thefts are happening over night and early morning hours.

9/24/2018 -
On Sunday, March 17th, 2017 police responded to 1512 Portland Avenue, the Tim Faulkner Gallery, on a shooting.  Ms. Savannah Walker was pronounced deceased at the scene.  Six other victims were transported to University Hospital ranging from serious to critical injuries.  The shooting occurred during a concert.
