20th & Woodland Homicide
September 13, 2021

On Tuesday, April 28th, 2020 at approximately 11:25AM, police responded to a report of an injury accident in the area of 20th & Woodland Avenue.  Upon arrival, officers, along with the Louisville Fire Dept. located a vehicle engulfed in flames with the victim, Nicholas Morris inside.  Mr. Morris was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  The victim was transported  to University Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.

28th & Hale Homicide
September 06, 2021

On Monday, November 25th, 2019 at approximately 9:45PM, police responded to a shooting at South 28th St. and Hale Avenue.  Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Trayshawn Coffey on the sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  The victim was transported to University Hospital where he died as result of his injuries. 

Homicide - Greenwood Avenue
August 30, 2021

On August 26th, 2018 at approximately 1:20PM, police responded to a male subject who had been shot at 3201 Greenwood Avenue.  Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Mr. Benny Berry, in front of that address.  The victim was transported to University Hospital where he died as a result oh his injuries.
