Residential Burglary
December 03, 2018

On October 15th, 2018, between 8PM and 9PM, person(s) unknown broke into a residence located at 3707 Lentz Avenue in south Louisville.  Apparently the suspect(s) entered through a basement window, which was pried open.  The home was ransacked with two firearms being stolen.  The burglar(s) may have been scared off by the homeowners arriving home.

November 26, 2018

On November 7th, 2017 at approximately 6:00PM, police responded to 3116 Fordhaven Road on a report of a shooting.  Upon arrival, officers found Leroy " Bubba" Johnson, Jr. deceased from a gunshot wound.  Mr. Johnson was found in the common area of the apartment building.

November 19, 2018

On January 15th, 2017 at approximately 5:00AM, police responded to the 3100 block of Vermont Avenue on a report of a shooting.  Upon arrival, officers found Mr. Lee Trowell, a 50 year old male, deceased in the roadway, due to the gunshots he sustained. Mr. Trowell had his 4-wheeler, nearby, still running.

November 12, 2018

On February 17th, 2017 at approximately 11:45PM, Mr. Nicholas Thomas, 21, was traveling westbound on the Watterson Expressway when he was shot multiple times by an unknown suspect(s).  Mr. Thomas was pronounced deceased at the scene on the Watterson, crashing his vehicle after being shot.
