On March 24th, 2010, at approximately 12:56PM, officers were dispatched to 2124 Grand Ave. on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Mr. Casey Pettiway, in the front yard of his residence, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Pettiway was transported to University Hospital where later he died from his injuries.

On February 11th, 2024, at approximately 1:10AM, officers were dispatched to 7439 Egypt Lane on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Mr. Ronald Hall, in a silver Chevy Malibu, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Hall was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Triple Homicide - 1700 Block St. Louis Avenue

On March 13th, 2024 at approximately 10:58 PM, officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of St. Louis Avenue on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Mr. Louis House and Ms. Da' Vionna Sloan were pronounced deceased at University Hospital. The third victim, the unborn child of Ms. Sloan also died as a result of the shooting injuries.

On March 5th, 2024 at approximately 2:27PM, officers were dispatched to 3427 Shagbark Road on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Mr. Carlos Hamilton inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. EMS responded and pronounced Mr. Hamilton deceased at the scene.

On December 14th, 2020 officers were dispatched to 652 N. 36th St. on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Mr. Marion Pryor, suffering from a gunshot wound. Mr. Pryor was transported to University Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Investigation revealed the suspect was shooting from a black four-door Buick.

On October 10th, 2023 at approximately 6:35PM, police were dispatched to 4020 Taylor Blvd. on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to University Hospital. Mr. Brandon Clark died at the hospital from his wounds and the second victim survived with critical injuries.

On October 2nd, 2020 at approximately 5:02PM, officers were dispatched to U of L Hospital on a report of a shooting victim that just arrived. Upon arrival, officers learned the victim, Mr. Austin Floyd, had been declared deceased due to a gunshot wound. Investigation revealed that Mr. Floyd was a passenger in a vehicle in the 200 block of N. 36th Street when someone shot at the vehicle striking Mr. Floyd.
